In the manufacturing industry, conversions are often necessary in order to adapt the production facility to new requirements. A production hall is like a living organism that is constantly changing over time. However, this can also be problematic, as the original foundation is either heavily modified or is not continuously and correctly maintained.

In such cases, Scan to BIM offers the ideal solution. As part of a conversion project, we can use Scan to BIM to quickly capture the current state of the production hall without interrupting operations and convert it into a 3D model. In this way, the original basis can be retained as a planning basis and the client receives a precise and up-to-date model of their existing building, down to the centimeter.
